Careers
We provide a host of programs to save the lives of pets and make their lives better. Whether you’re providing access to world-class veterinary care, helping homeless pets rebuild their lives, or engaging the community to end pet homelessness by keeping pets and their people together, you can take pride in knowing you are changing lives.
Our focus is keeping pets in their homes whenever possible by providing programs that provide access to affordable veterinary care. When pets cannot stay in their homes or do not have one, we have an adoption center to attend to their needs and find them into new homes.

Second Chance has an adoption center, 4 full-service veterinary hospitals (including our new teaching hospital,) mobile veterinary & adoption vehicles, and a wide range of programs and services to help pets.

Internships
Are you looking for an internship or externship as part of your college experience?
Second Chance works with many colleges and universities to provide real-world experience for animal care, veterinary technician and veterinary student through internships and externships.
