Already have an existing will you don’t way to change? If you already have a Will or Living Trust, and want to make a bequest to Second Chance Animal Services, this can be easily done by using a Codicil. A codicil need not change the terms of your current Will or Living Trust. It can simply add a new instruction or bequest.
You can add Second Chance as a beneficiary to your life insurance, 401K plan, IRA, stock holdings, etc. Just ask your insurance agent, IRA administrator, 401K administrator, or stock broker for a beneficiary form and name Second Chance Animal Services as the beneficiary. Donations will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, without limitations.
In the course of its regular fundraising activities, Second Chance Animal Services will accept donations of money, real property, personal property, stock, and in-kind services.
Certain types of gifts must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special liabilities they may pose for Second Chance Animal Services. Examples of gifts which will be subject to review include gifts such as timeshares, or real or personal properties with liabilities.
