Adoptable Dogs

Meet our adoptable Dogs!

Interested in adopting at Second Chance? Fill out our adoption survey so our adoption counselors can help you find a perfect match! Once we receive your survey, we’ll send you an email but you are always welcome to meet our adoptable pets.

Why is there a location next to a pets name? Some pets may be at or in transit to a mobile adoption event. To view our regularly scheduled mobile event calendar, please visit the  Adoption Location page

Pets without location info are available at our Adoption Center located at 111 Young Road, East Brookfield, MA 01515.

Adoption Fees:

Puppies (less than 3 months): $550
Puppies (Between 3 to 7 months): $475
Dogs (Over 7 months): $350
Senior Canine (Over 7 years): $200
Dogs ages 7 and over qualify for our Senior Canine Companion Program. Senior dogs make excellent companions because they are typically housebroken and out of the chewing stage, and require less exercise than younger dogs. If you are seeking a dog that will be more like a companion than a playmate, consider an older dog. They have plenty of love to share with their new owners. Please consider opening up your heart and home to a senior dog today!

Senior & Military Companion Program

A shelter pet can be a great source of comfort and companionship, helping to ease stress and anxiety. Our Senior & Military Companion Program offers a $25 discount to adopters age 65 and over and to active military and veterans.

To get this discount, please show proof of age or your military/veteran ID at the time of adoption.  We are unable to apply this discount retroactively so please be sure to let us know if you qualify before your adoption is finalized. ($25 maximum discount may be applied through this program.)

Our adoption fees help to offset just a part of the cost of caring for your new pet and preparing them for adoption.  Each dog receives a thorough exam, heartworm prevention, age-appropriate vaccinations including distemper combo vaccination & rabies vaccination if old enough, spaying or neutering, flea and tick treatment, deworming treatment and a microchip. You also receive a complimentary collar, complimentary 1st veterinary visit, online access to new adopter resources and the lifetime support of our adoption staff, plus the love and companionship of a new best friend!

*Second Chance Animal Services adoption fees are subject to change without prior notice.
