Kids are never too young to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Throwing a “Party for Pets” is a great opportunity to teach the young animal lover in your life the importance of giving back. Second Chance provides a party kit for kids who are having a birthday party and are asking for gifts for the shelter pets instead of themselves. The kit includes party favors and a t-shirt for the birthday girl or boy. We encourage the child to bring the gifts to the shelter, take a tour and meet some of the pets they are helping.
A healthy pet is a happy pet! Second Chance has 3 Community Veterinary Hospitals to help you keep your pet healthy. These full service hospitals offer everything from annual physicals to sick visits, dental care and surgery with our caring veterinary staff to help you meet all your pet’s needs. We have in-house advanced diagnostics including ultrasound and X-ray.
