K9 Salute Program

At Second Chance, we salute the hard-working police K9s of Massachusetts that help to keep us safe, search for lost persons, protect us by finding explosives, provide comfort and so much more.  We want to do our part by keeping them healthy.

All qualified Massachusetts police K9 dogs are eligible for the following through any of Second Chance’s veterinary hospitals:

• Annual exam at no cost
• Annual vaccines at no cost (this includes rabies and distemper combo vaccines)
• Any other services at our subsidized rate costs

To qualify, the K9 must be a certified police K9 owned and working in Massachusetts.  Please be sure to let us know your dog is a K9 when booking an appointment and remember to bring documentation that the K9 is a working police dog.
